One of the top 10 most important systems I teach my members is a very important service system. Specifically – it’s the Inspection Routine.

This is important because your clients and mavens need to know that thier experience with you is going to be almost identical every single time they use you.

Why is this so important?

If you are not predictable, you are not referrable.

There are a lot of things you can do to make yourself more referrable, but it all has to start with you making the people who can refer you business feel secure in the fact that you will always provide a dependable, predictable experience.

Do you have a consistent inspection routine? Do you wear a uniform? Is your vehicle professionally lettered? Do you write things up the same way every time?

These are examples of things you can put into place to make your service expererience more predictable. You don’t have to do these things if you don’t want to, BUT…

If you aren’t making your service as professional and predictable as possible, then you are making yourself less referrable, and you also have a business that is much harder to scale.

Here’s a simple example…

At TexInspec, a big thing for our inspectors is uniforms. They all wear the exact same color of shirts, the exact same color of pants, the exact same color of belts and shoes…

Each time we bring a new inspector onto the team, our clients and mavens start with a feeling of comfort because they know they are going to have a predictable experience, regardless of which inspector performs their inspection.
